Setup Checklist
- Call
RPA and to get your internet account established. Please
obtain dialup-user_id and password, as well as mailbox_id
and password. You will need this when you configure your
software.
- Follow
instructions for configuring
Dial-Up Networking.
- Follow
instructions for configuring
Dial-Up Networking Properties.
- If
you would like to check your modem
configuration, please do so at this time.
- Follow
instructions for the particular E-mail program you will
be using. You will need the mailbox_id and password at this
time. If you do not have it, please contact our Customer
Service Department at 756-4500.
- At
this time, try to connect to RPA. If you are unable to connect,
please check the Dial-Up Networking Properties and Network
Configuration information. If everything looks okay and
you are still unable to establish a connection, please contact
Technical Support at 756-4500.
- After
you are connected, try to send an email to yourself or a
friend. Make sure you are able to send and receive without
difficulties. If your email does not go through, please
check your settings. If your mail settings look okay, please
contact Technical Support at 756-4500.
- Now
you are ready to use the Internet. Be sure to make RPA your
homepage so you visit us every time you "Surf the Net".
To do this, please choose your browser and check the configuration
information.
