Uploading Your Web Page

Downloading an FTP Client

To upload your files so that everybody else can view your pages and images on the World Wide Web, you will need an FTP program. Two of the most popular FTP programs are the latest versions of:

WS_FTP LE (available for download from download.com)
and
CuteFTP 4.0 (Available for download from Globalscape)

Configuring Your FTP Client

Once you have installed one of these programs, you will need to enter RPA's FTP settings:

FTP Host:
members.rpa.net
Initial Remote Directory:
public_html
User ID (username):
mailbox_name (first part of your email address)
Password:
your_email_password
Label (Profile Name):
My RPA Website (any recognizable title will do)
Port:
21 (default)

Choose the FTP program you are using below for detailed instructions on where to enter this information.

What Is The URL (Address) Of My Web Site?

Once you have successfully uploaded at least an index.html file (this is what the file name of your primary web page should be), your website will be available at http://members.rpa.net/~your_mailbox_name.
